The MagpieAP™ is a variation of the Magpie™ EPS/Depron airplane that was designed specifically for aerial photography. The MagpieAP™ has a larger wing and fuselage than the Magpie™ and has an integrated camera mount in the fuselage.

The camera mount can be ground adjustable to set the camera angle or can be set up to be operated in flight with a servo.

The MagpieAP™ is designed around the GWS EPS400 motor to handle the extra weight.

Lipoly batteries are recommended for their weight savings. A brushless motor is a worthwhile investment if you are hauling an expensive camera into the sky.

The servo mounts, control horns, control horn mounting plates, and motor mount are laser cut plywood. We include both a stick mount motor mount as well as a firewall type mount. We also include optional pre-bent aluminum landing gear.

The Camera mount section is 4.56 in. long, 3.12 in high, and 1.5 in wide. You can use cameras wider than 1.5 inches.
